APPEARANCE

 

Kelsey's Art of Seph's Mask

 

Standing at 5'2" and weighing close to 140 pounds, Persephone is a bit on the chubby side (she says that it simply means more of her to love) but she's still a pretty little thing. With the Mask her skin is peachy in tone, blooming in health. Her fiery red hair falls in curls and waves reaching to about her waist, with it being one of her physical features she's proud of. She has a round face, with full lips and her eyes being a bright spring green. Despite her small stature, with her cute appearance, she is stronger than she looks.

 

In her Mien, her appearance changes up just a bit. Where in her Mask her skin was a peachy color, now it takes on a dusty gray, looking more like she hasn't seen the sun in ages, or perhaps dead. Her lips turn to a deep shade of purple, underneath her eyes are specks of green, looking sort of like freckles. Her hair is still mostly its vibrant red color, but with the tips being a purple color matching her lips, and the roses that grow in her hair and around her body are a similar shade. If one looks closely, they can see little green roots growing just under her skin, looking akin to tattoos. Her fingers are also a bit longer in her Mien, with them being a similar color to her lips. They seem sharp, almost like thorns.

 

For fashion, Seph is more the type to choose comfort over style. Still, there are days where she feels like prettying herself up, opting for a cute dress and flats to match. Other days, she's in a t-shirt with some pop culture reference on it, with jeans and shoes that have seen better days.

 

 

PERSONALITY

 

Tiny, but fierce, that's a pretty accurate sentence to describe her. But there is more to Persephone than just that. She is feisty and does have a temper, but she has a strong sense of loyalty, determination and bravery. Those she has grown fond of, trusts and calls friend she'll do what she can to assist them in their time of need. She's rather confident and self-assured, which at times can come across as arrogance although that is not her intention. She was raised to believe in and love herself, so she embraces that wholly and utterly. She's pretty out-going and willing to strike up a conversation with most folk and attempt to befriend them. However, should they make a bad impression on her, then she doesn't give them the time of day. Once she has decided someone isn't worth her time or energy, it's pretty hard to convince her otherwise. She's stubborn, tending to dig her feet in and remain prone on whatever opinion or conclusion she has formed and come to. Still, in all, she is a good person and means well. She's someone one would definitely like to have on their side.

 

While generally Seph is pretty fearless with most situations (she'll know when not to instigate some fights, she's not stupidly suicidal) there are some things she is terrified of, some of which have already happened. One of her greatest fears is her independence being taken away from her. It's something she values highly, and the idea of (once again) being nothing more than a tool, toy or possession completely horrifies her. She doesn't give voice to this fear unless she truly trusts someone. Betrayal from someone she has come to love and care for deeply would also be world shattering for her. Generally she tries to put on a persona of utter confidence and unflinching conviction, which she is able to uphold much of the time. The main thing that can (and likely will) bring her moral down is some kind of threat in which her Keeper is involved.

Instantly free of any shackles, bonds, straightjackets, handcuffs or other means to restrict her. Can only unlock doors if trapped in a small compartment like a trunk of a car. Exceptional success allows, in addition to what's previously listed, the door to the room that she is in automatically unlocks. 

Catch: The changeling has been unjustly imprisoned for a crime or offense they did not commit.

Pursuer's Seven-League Leap Oath & Punishment 1 G Wyrd + Athletics

For every success, she can jump 15 feet horizontally and 8 feet vertically. Exceptional Success increases Defense by 2 for the turn.

Catch: The changeling is pursuing an oathbreaker.

Cloak of the Elements Elements (Plants) 2 G N/A

Protects her from the element associated with the contract and allows her to be comfortable in any weather associated with it. She is protected by extreme manifestations of the element. Protects against direct damage caused by the element in question by subtracting 1 point. 

Catch: The changeling bears some symbolic representation of the element in question, like a t-shirt depicting a mountain on it for earth

For each point of success, subtract one point of Durability from an object's structure, such as a door or wall. Reduced durability applies to all attacks and lasts for a scene.

Character gains additional dots of Strength equal to successes rolled. Can only be used for non combat purposes, if the user attacks anyone, the clause ends. Otherwise, lasts for a full scene. Exceptional success grants the 9-again rule for all appropriate Strength rolls.

Catch: Using this to show off their physical or athletic prowess to gain a prize or acclaim, and not for any practical purpose.
